Mogford Prize

The prize is open to writers of any nationality who are over 18 years of age at the closing date of the competition. Stories may have a maximum of 2,500 words not including the title and should not have been previously published anywhere (this includes self-publication, publication on websites, blogs and online forums as well as broadcast via TV, radio or podcast). All stories should be in English and the sole work on the entrant.

All entries must be made via our online submissions form as a .doc or .docx file. A fee of £15 must be paid for each submitted story. 10 free entries are available for writers on low incomes on a first come, first serve basis limited to one entry per author. All free entries for this year’s competition have now been awarded.
