DAME MARY BERRY - 2017

Mary Berry DBE CBE was a household name long before she presented BBC’s iconic Great British Bake Off between 2010 and 2016. She is a food writer, chef, and baker as well as a television presenter. Mary has published over fifty books and her Aga cookery books and cooking school remain immensely popular. Her awards are numerous, including an honorary degree from Bath Spa University and the Freedom of the Cities of Bath and London. For her work on The Great British Bake Off she was awarded the Best TV Judge at the National Television Awards.

‘Bait’ by Nicky Winder, was selected as the 2017 Mogford Prize Winner by Prize founder Jeremy Mogford, and guest judges; Sir Philip Pullman CBE, FRSL, and Dame Mary Berry.
