GERALDENE HOLT - 2013 to 2015

Geraldene Holt is an award-winning food writer and journalist. Her books include Country House Cooking, West Country Cakes and Assorted Fancies and Recipes from a French Herb Garden. Geraldene is a founder member and former Vice President of the UK Guild of Food Writers and a founding trustee of the Jane Grigson Trust. She was also a founding Chair of the Oxford Symposium on Food & Cookery.

2013's WINNING SHORT STORY

‘A Dish of Chocolate Ice-cream’ by Emma Seamen, was selected as the inaugural 2013 Mogford Prize Winner by Prize founder Jeremy Mogford, and guest judges; Donald Sloan, co-founder and chair of Oxford Gastronomica and head of the Oxford School of Hospitality Management at Oxford Brookes University, and Geraldene Holt.
